Update: We’ve updated the Batteryscores and text, as we’ve reevaluated how the Battery Life, Charge Time, and Power Saving scores are weighted. We’ve also updated the relevant usage boxes that were affected by this recalculation.

I believe the JBL pulse 4 has Bluetooth 4.2 and not 5.1 and I do not believe it supports pairing multiple devices at the same time. Can only connect to one device at a time. This feature I think is for Pulse 5. I could be wrong please check. Thank you.

The Pulse 4 received an update for firmware (version 0.5.1.0), which allows the speaker to support Bluetooth 5.1 profile. Link
As for having two devices connected, I double-checked this and could pair two phones and successfully connect them to the Pulse 4 simultaneously.
