Hey GeorgeJetson, Thank you for pointing that out. We noticed this too, however the label and our printed manual both say 900W which is why we went with that. I’ll make sure that the writing reflects this. You can also check out the label photo here.
We did not really notice the display not being bright enough, but we did notice that at an angle it was harder to see inside the microwave. Additionally, the buttons are not backlit so it would be hard to see them in dimmer settings. You can see and example of this in our in test photo here.

Update: Added a note that it’s sometimes advertised as a 1050-watt microwave under power. The actual output power of our unit is 900 watts.
