Vizio Model M507-G1, screen goes blank, appears to turn off
I ‘ve had this tv for less than 14 months. The last few days the screen will go blank usually after about 10 to 20 seconds. At first I though it was turning off, but then realized that there was a faint lighted hue on the whole screen. It was still on, but just not displaying the picture anymore. The sound goes away too. Sometimes the tv stays on properly for a few minutes. The times it has stayed on this long is when I changed some of the display settings from the tv menu, as recommended from various youtube videos. None of this worked.
What could be wrong with the tv. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Update: We incorrectly noted that this camera uses a contrast-detection AF system in viewfinder mode. The ‘Photo AF-C Tracking’ box has been updated to correct this.
