Hi Clintsewell,

Unfortunately we don’t measure this so I can’t tell you the difference between DV Dark and DV. However, DV Dark is most likely the most accurate. With HDR/DV brightness is an important aspect of the accuracy and in DV the content tells the display how bright it should be. In this situation, its likely that DV Dark follows the correct brightness curve while DV Normal is over brightening the image. This is because Dolby Vision Dark is meant to be used in a dark room, kind of like how the lights are out at movie theatres to give you a better viewing experience.
