What is the current most updated recommended settings for hdr content both for movies and gaming?

Iv had this tv for a bit now and wondering if any firmware updates or settings have been improved for hdr content. What is the best way to watch 4k hdr movies and games (minimal lag) with out having too dim of a screen? Thank you.
