    You mentioned the effects of edge vs full-array lighting (number of LEDs used), brightness measured in NITs (is content dependent) and HDR (also content dependent) can overshadow the underlying technologyโ€™s power consumption. Can you incorporate those into the formula for your calculator so that we can have a reasonable chance of comparing the real power consumption of monitors from their specs?

    Thanks for taking the time to reach out with your suggestion.

    It would be interesting to do so, but it may prove very tricky due to differences between specific models of monitors. Many enthusiasts have been asking us to test the power consumption of monitors as part of our review process, like we do for TVs, is this something youโ€™d like for us to do going forward?
