thank you! What I mean is that we rarely look pure color in our daily use. Will commonly used images be added for comparison in the future, such as skin or other mixed colors picture?
I really don’t know. We do want to rework our viewing angle test in a future update, but the exact scope of those changes and what the new test will look like haven’t been decided yet. We’ll keep your request in mind!
Hi, we adjusted some of our scoring in the 2.0 methodology update, but there’s no change to how we run the test itself. The video we include in our reviews is just to give our readers an idea of what the TV looks like in real person, it’s not used for the actual measurements.

HI,regarding viewing angle part,I noticed that we modified the scoring situation. When choosing TV ,we will refer to the viewing angle.According to the description of test,we conducted the viewing angle evaluation using 75%RGB picture in Movie Mode. However, when we watch TV,most users will adopt the standard mode and picture is complex, the video of displaying is a face pocture. Does this result conform to daily use? Will we optimize viewing test?Is the better to test the skin color picture?

Am I wrong or did you forget to add HDR color accuracy (at least for the flagship models) under 50% luminance? I suggest 15 and 30% will be enough (dE ITP of course) This is important if you want to be taken seriously..
Hi RtingsUser114164,
Thanks a lot for reaching out and sharing your thoughts!
You’re absolutely right to highlight the importance of measuring HDR color accuracy at lower luminance levels. Some of our current color patches do fall under the 50% luminance mark, but we agree that this alone isn’t sufficient—especially given how challenging accurate color reproduction can be at low brightness levels.
Going forward, we are looking to expand our testing to specifically assess low-luminance color accuracy on TVs. We really appreciate your feedback as our new tests and updates to existing ones are based on community feedback. The more interest we see from the community, the more likely we are to prioritize and develop specific tests.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out again if you have more suggestions!
Cheers

big changes in the new version. Rtings increases the brightness rating in sports from 19 to 50 percent? And for cinema from 10 to 20 percent. These are changes in times. If you think you are right now, how have you not seen this for many years. Now it seems to me that you want to convince us that brightness is the most important thing in a TV. Probably that is why your results differ a lot from the reviews of other experts on YouTube. I think you should also look at the TV with a human eye and think, are you right? It is good to do blind tests with your experts from time to time to see if your ratings match what a person sees without devices and without knowing the model.
Came here to check on which TVs are currently recommended as PC monitors and was super bummed out to see the section get removed. Thankfully, waybackmachine has versions of the site saved that still has this information, so all’s not completely lost! Still thought this was a thoughtful, forward-thinking inclusion that I’m sad to see go.
You can still turn it on in the grid lists for now
