I noticed the contrast ratio of the D series 1080p units is much better than for the 4K version....

I noticed the contrast ratio of the D series 1080p units is much better than for the 4K version. However, you state that the performance is almost the same for both units other than the resolution. Isn't this a significant difference in performance or did I miss something? I watch from distances ranging from 12 - 25 ft. Would I be better off with the 1080 version if I want the best picture for OTA and streaming?
