Warning, changing values from the service menu can cause irreparable harm to your TV. Always be very careful with the values that you change and keep note of the original values. If you are not 100% sure of what you are doing, get some help or simply avoid doing any change from the service menu.

Although unavailable by default, Bluetooth support can be enabled by using the TV's service menu. You can enter the service menu by turning the TV off, then pressing one at a time Mute-1-8-2-Power on the basic remote. In the service menu, setting (BT Support -> ON, Voice Recognition -> ON, Samsung Smart Control -> ON, BT_AUDIO_ON_OFF -> ON) allows the MU6290 to work with the Samsung smart remote included with other Samsung TVs, including the voice control feature, and allows the TV to be used with Bluetooth audio products like Bluetooth headphones.

Update 07/20/2019: If the BT ADDRESS field still says 'Not Support' after enabling **BT Support**, unfortunately, your specific variant does not have the Bluetooth chipset.

Adam - is there a way to get around BT address not support?

No. If your TV shows that, it simply doesnโ€™t have the BT hardware. This canโ€™t be added.

I think this was already stated, but just to make it clear, on my TV I had to enable the following in different menus:

Option โ†’ Engineer Option โ†’ BTAudioON_OFF Option โ†’ MRT Option โ†’ BT Support ON โ†’ Voice Recognition ON โ†’ Samsung Smart Control ON
