Why do some LCD TVs suffer from image retention while others don't? My UN40J6200 gets image retention rapidly after leaving a static image for just 10 minutes or more. As you've stated in this review, this model doesn't seem to suffer from this problem; I just purchased the 24" model. However, will it vary between individual units, or is it expected to be same across the board in terms of panel quality?
