Thank you for your suggestions. As you say, those tests seems to be interesting for many people and we will consider adding those on our next test bench.
I agree, those should be added to the tests.
This is an excellent request. Many Logitech gaming mice now have very low activation force. I have large hands and resting my finger on the left click nearly activates the button which is terrible when clicking through file trees and accidentally dragging files into random folders.
Yes, actuation force especially is quite important. I imagine it could be measured in the same way the force curves of keyboard switches are currently measured in keyboard reviews.
Hello! We have been hard at work on updating our mouse test bench and have recently released Mice Test Bench Update 1.5 that addresses many of the comments in this thread. We have a new โMain Buttonโ test that includes a main button actuation graph as well as a graph that includes tactile force, pre-travel, and total travel. We also added some switch information including switch type and model.
