Does the bluetooth work simultaneously with the 2.4? as in can i listen to music with bluetooth on my phone and have game audio from my console with 2.4?

You can easily switch between 2.4 and Bluetooth (this is what Razer calls ‘SmartSwitch’), but you can’t have both audio sources playing at the same time.

Hi, I just want to let you know and everybody else know, This headphone (Razer Barracuda Wireless) have poor build quality. I bought one in November (November 17 to be precise), arrived at 20-ish November, been wearing them and been handling them with care, (I never forced it or stress test it and etc. etc. just normal use).

TLDR; if you want lasting headphone without worry and good service, buy hyperX, so far they have been more helpful than razer.

Apparently, the hinge part (the swivel to be specific) broke on me after I used it for about 4 months only. (It broke on 8 of February when I picked it up off the table). I noticed that the swivel part on the other side is cracking as well.

I live in Indonesia, and the razer in here is quite stingy, they won’t give me a warranty replacement because they assumed I broke it by myself (this is just too funny). If you are in Indonesia, don’t go for razer headset, especially this model.

It’s a pity I love the model. the lifestyle intention is really great, but apparently it just broke and didn’t deliver. Here is my point, the main problem is the swivel part on the hinge. (it’s the part where the earcup rotator is connected to the headband). This part is made with plastic and is connected by putting the steel rotator into the plastic swivel.

Now the problem here is that, this kind of method of design, seems fine at first in a hindsight, but if you logically think about it, this is a very fragile design. Why? When you are using a headset, normally you would grab the earcup then stretch them. This is how headsets are used most of the time. But this normal motion that we are doing, apparently put quite a lot of stress into this headset’s design, hence why, as time goes by (if you often do the motion) it will start to break apart.

It is a pity that a great company like razer fail to account this into their QC (Quality Control). I would like to question their process of design and quality control over this to be honest. Furthermore, you pay quite a huge amount of money.

I will have to say, so far, the better headset build quality (if you want a worthwhile investment on a headset that is good enough and strong) just buy hyperX models. They are far better and far more resistant as I wrote this thus far. Apparently their customer service is also better as I am writing this :)

Created an account just to say that the poor quality of this headset (Razer Barracuda Wiress 2022). Bought 2 of them, first one, the Left swivel part (swinging) broke so the left earmuff is just dangling. Bought a 2nd one and to my surprise, not even under 2 months, there’s already a crack on either side of the Left swivel, and in time, will turned out just like my 1st one. Really not recommended, -10/10.

Do eq on this headset work on ps 5? Will eq settings on the app save on the headset and work on ps 5? Will i have to reapply settings each time i turn it on? So i won’t have to do it each time i turn on the headset
