My name is Raphael, and I am a sound tester here at RTINGS.com. For speakers, we will do a comparison of different EQ settings if the speaker or its companion app have presets built-in (ex: Music, Voice, Extra Bass, etc…). If manual EQ is the only way to customize the sound profile (such is the case for the Sonos Move 2), we leave it on the default setting.
Calibration for best sound quality is something we currently do for soundbars, but not for speakers. We may however include it in a future test bench update if it is something people would want to see, but I cannot give you an exact time as to when this will happen.

Optimal equalizer settings for speakers would be a nice addition. I’m sure many of us would appreciate it and have more reason to point others to RTINGS!
