My X950H was also replace with their X90K and, like you, I was disappointed. Our X950H screen display began breaking down by showing horizontal lines in the upper left hand side of the screen. It was deemed unrepairable.

One possible clue to all this is that the 950H had the special screen which facilitated ultra wide angle viewing. The X90K does not and because of that is a less expensive set. A wild guess is that the special screen construction contributed to its own failure. You & I were in the โ€œguinea pigโ€ audience and apparently were beta testing the 950H.

One last comment. Our X90K stopped working last week temporarily. THe sound began breaking up and then the set sound went out. After a few minutes the picture went out. We could not get either back. So we called Best Buyโ€™s Geek Squad for help since it was still within a few days of warranty. The set was unplugged for a couple of days waiting for them. When they arrived, the lead technician performed what he called a โ€œpower onโ€ reset. The TV came back to life, he & his helper had to reset up the TV but it began working properly again, THe next day while watching, the TV did its own โ€œsystem updateโ€ and alarmed us but we left it alone and later that evening we had to try several times to get it to turn on. It did but we had to reset all the initial Q/A steps that we did when we used it the first time. Since then, a few days, it has been okay,

Thanks for listening to this long response but I thought it might help.

    Cheers.
