Hi there, is this TV also plagued with the 40Gbps HDMI 2.1 ports due to having the One Connect Box?
You forgot to include in your review one of the best room humidifiers available in the market, the Venta LW45 Original Humidifier. Their products can be seen at https://www.venta-air.com/en_us/product-category/humidifiers/ .
would love to see the Vornado Evap40 too!

Heya cbhunt, appreciate the feedback. Our recommendation articles only include articles that we’ve tested ourselves, and we haven’t yet tested Venta LW45 yet.
We aren’t planning on testing any more humidifiers in the present, but that could change in the future. If that changes however, and should there be sufficient community approval, we’ll go ahead and purchase and test our own Venta LW45 unit.
Don’t hesitate to reach out again if you have any further questions or concerns!
The best buy link for the toe LV600S is going to the Levoit - PlasmaPro 600S.
Update: We’ve verified that our recommendations are available and represent the best choices and made some small edits for clarity.

Thanks for trying, but sorry, this is a pretty worthless review. Runtime is useless without knowing humidification rate (e.g., the HIGHEST runtime model has the LOWEST capacity rating!!!). The numeric scores are meaningless. Just how much more energy do steam units use? Calling evaporative models “cool mist” is kinda silly & misleading. You should really talk about ultrasonic units more, as unless you have very soft water, they are essentially unusable. You don’t even mention the mfrs’ own room size ratings. And as someone mentioned, a shame you didn’t test a Venta, as they engender extreme opinions both positive & negative!

How would humidification rate be measured? Something like how much time a set square foot room goes from 30% humidity to 60%? Similarly for energy usage, i.e. efficiency. Would that not be the measured energy usage for the same humidity change and be expressed as L/kWh
I’ve never inquired how the number ratings are setup and always thought about them as relative. But thanks for bringing this up so I can understand them better in this site overall.
Can you read this article and comment there on what’s lacking or missing? I’m sure they’d appreciate feedback for them to improve. Even though I already bought my humidifiers, I’d like them to improve further and help others. https://www.rtings.com/humidifier/learn/research/white-dust
I hope you understand that this page is a roundup of reviews and not individual reviews. You’d have to look into each ones individual review to see some of the things you’re asking about. Such as the advertised coverage, efficiency, and humidification rate.
Update: Minor in-text adjustments to better convey product details.
