Please, I need help selecting a primary monitor for use with my Mac Mini (M1).
My primary uses for the display are using flight simulator software X-plane, some other light gaming, music creation in DAW Logic Pro.
For the flight simulator, I have a pair of Acer PM161Q’s, portable secondary displays I would also like to “daisy-chain” or somehow also use with a primary display, to widen the viewport and simulate the instrument panel. I’m not opposed and open to suggestions for getting some sort of additional peripheral or accessory to expand the I/O of the Mac, as I will have the 3-4 monitors, the flight controls, my USB midi Keyboard/Drum Machine, and I’d like to hook in my Switch/Capture card.
Trying to keep the price closer to $100-300 if possible, and I value any eye strain or lower blue light features.
Thanks in advance
While lack of proper Clear Type implementation impacts OLEDs, another contributing factor towards fringing and text quality is amount of black “dead space” around individual sub pixels.
Small mistake in the text clarity section as the “cleartype on” image is linked twice for IPS, RGB from the looks of it.
