Update: Weโve converted this review to Test Bench 1.2. This update builds on our previous โSuctionโ test with a new โAirflowโ test that more accurately measures a vacuumโs ability to generate air movement. If youโd like to see an in-depth look at the reasoning and methodology behind this change, you can see our full changelog here..
I have the same handheld and you actually can pop off the handle cover and cleanup/replace the battery!
Hi jtizzle34,
The Shark WANDVAC System link appears to have a removable cover on the handle where you can access the battery. The Shark WANDVAC however does not have the same battery access as its battery is behind a cover and a set of screws not meant for easy user access. Both vacuums have very similar names however the Shark WANDVAC System is a cordless upright/handheld vacuum and the Shark WANDVAC is a cordless handheld vacuum.
Are you perhaps referring to the Shark WANDVAC System? Regards.
Update: Weโve converted this review to Test Bench 1.3. Weโve overhauled our floor performance tests and added new โHard Floor Pick-Up,โ โHigh-Pile Carpet Pick-Up,โ โLow-Pile Carpet Pick-Up,โ and โPet-Hair Pick-Upโ tests. You can see the full changelog here.
