It’s a bit strangely named, but the 434 is actually based on the 2019 425, not the 435. Unfortunately, we don’t have any plans to review it, so we don’t have the recommended settings for it. We don’t recommend copying our 435 or 425 settings for this model.

That makes a lot of users like me very sad. With so many s434 TVs bought this Thanksgiving from best buy and target, I am sure there are a lot of people looking for calibration settings. I will continue to read the comments to see if there is enough interest to drive testing in future.

Update: well that didn’t take long. After looking into it a bit, we’ve decided to purchase the Android variant S434. We won’t have it until January though, but we will be posting a full review, included recommended settings.

The closest thing I’ve found so far is settings for the euro version, look up tcl 680 settings. They aren’t terrible but I’m not convinced that I’ve gotten the settings right yet.

Thank you choudarytl for starting thread and AB for responding. I’m a newbie sorry… Purchased the Target BF deal 65" s434 and a TCL sound bar 6.1 also a PS5. They are for my 10yrd twin boys XMAS gifts. How the heck do I hook this up to look great??? I’m 47 regular dad and I’m dumbfounded lol. Thank you

Our recommended settings in this review could still be helpful despite your TV likely being a variant of the one we tested. However, outside of that ,we don’t have any calibration suggestions!
