Thank you for taking the time to reach out with your suggestion, and we’re glad to hear you enjoyed our R&D article on eARC and soundbars!
Your suggestion to include eARC latency measurements in our TV test bench is a great one, especially considering how impactful this can be for gaming, as you’ve pointed out. It’s definitely not ideal when latency pushes things past the threshold of what feels natural.
Right now, we’re working on the next iteration of our TV test bench update, which is focused on motion and image processing. That said, I’ve added your suggestion to our internal tracking list for future test bench considerations. eARC latency is an area we agree could use more coverage, especially from the TV side of the equation.
