We need a test that shows how TV's tone-map real-scene images

We need a test that shows how TV’s use tone-mapping to avoid black-crush and white-crush, preferably on a real image (e.g. looking out a back-lit window). Since not all home-computers are HDR compatible, this could be done by showing both a (post-captured) brightened and darkened image of the captured image. Since some tone-mapping algorithms are based on histograms and “AI” detection of sub-images, simple test-patterns alone would not help to show the differences between the different models.
