Since I can't professionally calibrate the grayscale myself, if I leave both the low and high points/RGB values to stock (0) can setting the color temperature to Warm2 help it get close to D6500k?
So

Will this vote include both sizes or just the big one?

This is the big one only! The smaller one is a ‘mini’ version, and has a separate entry to vote for! :)

Something important in reviews is if the mouse has onboard memory to save settings/configs directly to mouse, allowing user to. close the software while using the PC, or if the software must remain open 24/7 (requiring system usage to operate)

    Thanks!

Hey Kabete, we will be testing out Motion Sync as part of our Sensor Latency testing. Stay Tuned for the review!

Just received the exact same mouse myself, and I can confirm that the contents in my box are different.

I received two sets of spare feet, but both were PTFE, one set was black, the other was white. Everything else is exactly the same.

My WLmouse was purchased from TaoBao, where they have an official store (I’m pretty sure that’s their earliest store too). The price on TaoBao is $98 for the solid colors, and $112 for the gold/black version.

    Hi Goldenmaker,

Thank you for taking the time to reach out! It’s good to know that users are receiving different accessories with this mouse.

Hello, Thank you for your interest in our mouse reviews. Generally, we do not update our reviews every time a mouse get a new firmware unless it adds/fixes features or promises to drastically improve its performance. We don’t plan on updating the BeastX review for this firmware update as we would expect it to perform very similarly to how it did during our initial testing.

The mini version of the mouse has different firmware provider and was also updated to support 8khz 2 days ago, so their performance might be different. By the way, I couldn’t get past around 6500 hz with Motion Sync enabled on the mini version (it gets close to 8khz without it).

the angry miao infinity mouse seems to be possible competition for this line at a similar price point, any plans on reviewing that? its also angry miao’s first mouse, so could be interesting (for good or for worse)

I thought this site was good until I read this the “Compared to Others” section of this review, then I realised that the authors are full of the same anti china brainworms that others are.

I own this mouse. I also own the Razer that this review claims is “higher build quality”. DO NOT BUY RAZER. They have some of the shoddiest build quality on the market, the crappiest buttons, the crappiest plastics, and they break CONSTANTLY.

    They’re just not good.

This reviewer claiming that the Razer has better build quality than the WLMouse is particularly wild as the WLMouse I’ve now been using for 1 year every single day is going strong with zero flaws showing. Only need to replace the skates but that’s normal for every mouse.

    Highly recommend. It’s incredibly good.

    Hey there awoofle!

Thank you for sharing your opinion!

We still scored the WLMouse Beast X 8.5/10 for build quality, which is excellent in our books. Our copy had a few more rough edges and (very) minor issues like metallic pinging noises and a cheaper-feeling scroll wheel than the Razer Viper Mini Signature edition, though, which is why the Razer scored a 9.0/10 for build quality. It’s possible that you got a better copy than we did! That said, the differences we noticed are still incredibly minor.

I’m really sorry that you disagree with our score, but I’m also glad you’re enjoying your WLMouse!
