Alienware AW3423DW vs LG 38WN95C-W for macbook pro 14"

Hi, I am looking for a 32-38" monitor for work, occasionally games, and some media consumption. I work in the medical field and often need to have multiple windows up simultaneously for charting, imaging, lab work, etc… I also like to watch HDR movies and occasionally play some mac games. Originally, I thought I would just get the Apple Studio Display, but after much research, I have come to the conclusion that their are better options that give comparable performance (in most categories besides pixel density) to the Studio Display. I think I may have narrowed it down to the two options listed above. I think I lean slightly towards the LG primarily due to concerns with possible burn-in, but the Alienware looks like it has a lot to offer as well. Looks like one can get either the Alienware or LG in “Like New” condition on Amazon for $949 and $992 respectively (which seems like a good deal compared to the $1,519 of the Studio Display). Also, FYI, I have an Amazon Basics computer monitor arm (VESA mount) on my desk currently that I plan to use with the monitor. Further, I am not opposed to other options if you think they would be better for my needs. Your timely advice and expertise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Can the EP 2840 fax????

    Hi,

Unfortunately, no, the ET-2840 can’t fax. For fax functionality, you’d have to go up to the Epson EcoTank ET-4810 or ET-4850. If you want a supertank printer with fax functionality in the same price range as the ET-2840, the Canon PIXMA G4270 may be worth considering.
