Our Verdict

Beats Solo Pro Wireless

Sony WF-1000XM4 Truly Wireless

The Beats Solo Pro and the Sony WF-1000XM4 Truly Wireless have different strengths, and you may prefer either one. While both headphones are well-built and have very good ANCs, the Beats are on-ears with a more neutral sound profile, which some users may like, and longer continuous battery life. They also have an H1 chip for seamless pairing with your other Apple devices. However, the Sony are more comfortable, their companion app has a graphic EQ and presets to help adjust their sound, and they have a better battery performance.
