Our Verdict

Philips Fidelio X2HR

HiFiMan Sundara 2020

The HiFiMan Sundara 2020 are better for neutral sound than the Philips Fidelio X2HR. The HiFiMan have a more immersive passive soundstage and deliver sound more consistently across users. However, while both headphones lack thump and rumble because of their open-back design, the Philips can reproduce a bit more low bass, which some listeners may prefer. They also come with a long, 10-foot audio cable.
