While the 92 have a sound profile that lacks sub-bass, the 79 have a better-balanced, more neutral sound profile with an extra punch in the bass range, making them more suitable for a wide variety of music genres. The 79 perform more consistently, too. The 79 have a more comfortable and more stable fit, and they have a much better noise isolation performance.
