How big of a difference in Latency is turbo mode on vs off? Love this keyboard, but I’d like to have non-blue lighting if it wouldn’t be shooting myself in the foot turning turbo mode off
Hey VXM313,
Unfortunately, we didn’t take measurements during our testing to compare the latency difference with Turbo Mode on vs. off, but we may still be able to provide some insight!
DrunkDeer isn’t explicit about exactly what their Turbo Mode does. However, based on our experience, we expect it restricts the RGB lighting to a static blue color as RGB effects can significantly strain the keyboard processor, adding latency. We believe any latency difference caused by disabling Turbo Mode is likely very small and almost certainly too minor to notice during gameplay, especially if you’re careful to keep RGB effects disabled.
That said, we did a bit more digging and according to DrunkDeer, a recent firmware update should now let you adjust the static color of the backlighting while Turbo Mode is on, which might be exactly what you’re looking for. Additionally, DrunkDeer indicates that this new firmware allows you to turn off the backlighting in Turbo Mode with the keyboard shortcut Fn2 + Down arrow, which dims the LEDs incrementally until they’re off.
We’ll be adding some of these new details to our review shortly. Thanks for reaching out to us.

Update: Following a firmware update, we’ve retested this keyboard and found the Rapid Trigger feature now works as intended. Test results are slightly improved in both the Single-Key Latency and Multi-Key Latency sections. We’ve also added text to the Configuration Softwaresection regarding new Dual Trigger and Last Win software options.

I was asking for G75 to get it in review pipeline page. thank you
We added it to our review pipeline page. So we’ll consider buying and testing it if there’s enough user interest!
