How does Asus RT-AX86U compare to Asus RT-AX88U? Also would Unifi Gateway Max wirh hardwired PoE APs powered by injectors give better coverage?

We haven’t tested the ASUS RT-AX88U, so I can’t say how it would compare to the RT-AX86U Pro performance-wise, but ASUS advertises that the former is marginally faster and has an additional 2.5Gbps port compared to the latter.
Using a Unifi Gateway Max with APs would likely provide better coverage than a single standalone router or even a consumer mesh system since it won’t have to deal with the penalties caused by a wireless backhaul. Still, we haven’t tested a setup like this, so I can’t say exactly how it would perform, especially in your home environment.
I got it, performance is awesome, nothing to complain.
