I bought this tv a month ago. The picture is awesome if you run some 4K videos from youtube, like animals, aquarium and similar rich colour videos.

Unfortunately, as an owner of plasma TV I was not aware for issues of LCD screens, like black scenes, local dimming issues and all other scenarios where perfect black and contrast take a role. This TV is really bad in these conditions.

Dirty screen effect and vertical banding can be seen when watching football games where green colour is washed with dirty screen effect and especially with vertical banding, it is really annoying.

LG magic remote grade should be deducted with at least two points since there are no physical forward/backward buttons (only through menu where you need to press 5 clicks before you can actually use fast forwarding). For that reason, you cannot use this remote as universal one since the most useful buttons are not there (imagine all these commercials which you cannot skip in easy way).

At the end all of that I have also an issue with freezing videos from my set top box IPTV. I used the same setup with plasma TV with no issues and I have fibre at home, 100mb/s. I tried lots of thing (changing hdmi kabel, reseting box, tv, router) and only things that helps is when I turn off TV and after that it is ok 10,20 max 30minutes and then again video is starting to freeze, for example every 10-20secodns video freeze for 0,5s and this disappear when I turn off/on TV. Is there a way to switch on some log service (like task manager in WIN) where could I see the CPU and RAM usage for TV since I think is either overloaded CPU or RAM for some reason?

p.s. since you cannot buy plasma anymore I suggest to buy OLED if you want to have proper black scenes and proper contrast.
