I wonder if it uses VA now like the Samsung‘s Mini-LED TVs for 2024, or if it sticks with IPS like the Q80C. I personally hope for the latter to still have a good IPS TV option.

  3. The product has arrived in our lab, and our testers will start evaluating it soon.

Hello, I would like to know if the television generates a lot of heat when it is working?

We haven’t finished testing the TV yet, but we’ll certainly note the amount of heat it generates in our written review if its anything out of the ordinary.

There was a typo in the sustained 2% brightness measurement. It’s been corrected in the final review.

We set it to High in SDR for our testing, since that gave us the best contrast results, but this can be adjusted based on personal preference. Thanks!

    Thank you!

  17. We’ve just released a new video that mentions the Samsung Q80D [Q80, Q80DD] QLED here.

Is the 75 inch definitely a VA panel? Because I’ve seen a few videos stating its an ADS panel. Could be a regional thing I suppose.

We really don’t know for sure without testing it, but everything we’ve seen suggests it’s a VA panel in the U.S.

Thanks. Just bought the UK 75 inch Q80D and can confirm that it has a VA panel.

Is this TV (75") intended to sit perfectly vertical once mounted on its included stand, or tilt back ever-so-slightly like some manufacturers do? Thanks.
