Greetings,
I was confused with the difference between the Canada and USA model numbers in your review of the LG UK7700 because my local Costco here in the USA carries the AUB.
49,55 and 65UK7700PUD(USA)
49,55 and 65UK7700AUB(Canada)
I wrote LG and here is their response.
In response to your inquiry, the 65UK7700AUB and the 65UK7700PUD have no difference. They have the same specifications and the only difference is that the SJ850 series is a club piece that is sold at exclusive retailers or in a limited distribution only while the SJ850A is an open model which is available for sale at any local dealer
The difference between the last 3 letters AUB and PUD pertain to Retailer, Region/Broadcast Format, and Design. Below is the definition of these model numbers:
โข 65UK7700AUB: Retailer (A) โ Club model only available in specific dealers
Region/Broadcast Format (U) โ ATSC for North America
Design โ (A) โ Default
โข 65UK7700PUD: Retailer (P) โ Common model available for sale at any local dealer
Region/Broadcast Format (U) โ ATSC for North America
Design โ (D)
Not a maj0r deal, just wanted to let you know.
Regards,
Rick
