In I can’t find reviews on this TV, but from my research, the 55 inch model is a VA panel. When I look at it at an angle, I perceive that the picture fades a bit and the blacks become gray. Is this information enough to assure it is a VA panel? Also, the F model is mentioned as “direct led” does it make it superior to the reviewed E model?
I am wondering if Brazils 705f Model is comparable to US 750f or to 720e… Can you help me here?
Regarding the HDR, I tested it with Netflix content such as Marco Polo, Altered Carbon and Stranger Things season 2. Also some youtube content. From what I saw from Mid RAnge LED Tvs (Q6FN) on display on the store, the quality of HDR, though less impressive, still offers a noticeable improvement over SDR content. From my perspective, this 55" 705f model performs HDR slightly better than the NU7100 a friend bought, reproducing the same content… what makes me believe that Brazil’s 705f is closest to US 750f and not 720e, as most brazilian reviewrs are saying…

What is the recommended sub setting? Should I enable Virtual X or TruVolume?
What is the recommended sub setting? Should I enable Virtual X or TruVolume?
Hello Punisher1_1995, You can find this info in the “Stereo Frequency Response With Preliminary Calibration” section of our review. We suggest a bass setting of -4 and leaving the subwoofer level at the default setting. Bear in mind that the calibration values are specific to our testing room, and your preference or room may differ. Enabling DTS Virtual X is a personal preference as well. It will simulate the effects of surround sound, and can provide an enjoyable experience for some content. It can nevertheless sound unnatural on some content. TruVolume can help with annoyingly loud commercials, for example, if that’s an issue distracting you. If your intention is optimal dynamic performance, however, then I suggest not enabling it. Have fun!
