I unsubscribed in 2022 after paying for all of 2021 because, while you may host the most diverse public database of quality headphone measurements, your methods of presenting data is likely the worst out of anyone publishing (especially frequency response) data on this scale.
From a business standpoint, you should strive for changes will get you the most paid subscribers. Your content is measurements, and audiophiles are happy to pay and/or give ad views to other sites for the privilege to compare them with a full suite of features such as:โจ
-Comparability of as many (or as few) measurements as possible
-Customizable (up to a point) colors for each measurement
-Ability to upload targets and measurements
-Ability to compensate measurements to a chosen target
โจ-Adjust smoothing of measurements
โจ-Automatically equalize to a chosen target within the tool
As of now, RTings doesโฆ precisely none of these things. Other sites (like crinacle.com) do, which is why he gets my money/ad views.
Please tell me you are all working on this and have plans to at least offer some of these things. Otherwise, nothing is gonna change for much the audiophile community, and we will do as we do now, and use traces of your frequency response measurements instead of visiting the site.
Working on actual advice for your test methodology too. Will be another post.
