Beats Solo Pro Wireless
Turtle Beach Recon 500
The Beats Solo Pro and the Turtle Beach Recon 500 are designed for different purposes. The Beats are wireless on-ears that are better suited for casual use. They're better-built, have a more neutral default sound profile, which some users may prefer, and have active noise cancelling, so they're able to block out a good amount of ambient sound around you. They also have an H1 chip, so you're able to seamlessly pair them with other devices in your Apple ecosystem. Conversely, the Turtle Beach are wired gaming headphones. They have a significantly better overall microphone performance and a more comfortable fit.
