Hi Ray! To clarify, the Qrevo Pro and The Qrevo Master should have similar mopping since they both use the rotating mop pads.
I’d assume the S8 MaxV Ultra’s mopping performance would be similar or better to the S8 Pro Ultra’s mop, but this is mostly speculation. The MaxV Ultra uses the VibraRise 3.0 mop instead of the VibraRise 2.0 on the Pro Ultra, but I don’t know how much of a difference that would make without testing it.
Between those two models specifically, I’d probably go with the Qrevo Master. While the S8 MaxV is the flagship, they both have the same dual roller and the Master will likely have the mopping performance you’re used to. Trade-offs to consider before buying: based on Roborock’s website, the S8 MaxV Ultra might be better for obstacle avoidance, can raise its mop higher, and the dock has the added auto detergent dispenser. The MaxV Ultra and its dock also look sleeker and more premium, but that’s fully subjective on my part.
If you’re still not sure, and you’d like us to review the S8 MaxV Ultra, you can vote for it here!
Let me know if you’d like me to clarify anything else, and thanks again for reaching out!

I appreciate your response. So u think the mopping of the S8 Pro Ultra would be similar to my Qrevo Pro? I think that’s what you meant but I’m not sure if you’re referring to the Qrevo Master 🤣. Also if you were buying, would you buy the S8 Maxv or the Qrevo Master? Not considering the price and you had 75 percent tile, hardwood flooring, and a shedding Siberian Husky?

Hi Ray!
The QRevo Master has the same brush design as the S8 Pro Ultra which did much better for pet hair than the Qrevo Pro so I would expect the Master to perform similarly. A small concern of mine would be the smaller dust bin, which would probably require more frequent emptying than the S8 Pro Ultra if your dog is shedding that much. As for mopping, I assume that you’ll likely see something similar to your Qrevo Pro.
I personally have the S8 Pro Ultra and love it, but it lacks the edge moping and the extending corner brush.

I currently own the Qrevo pro and love the dual brush mopping it does. It keeps my house really clean and does a great job. However when my Siberian Husky is shedding really bad it will leave clumps of hair on the carpeted bedrooms. I also have to make extra passes in those areas with maximum suck power which drains the battery and makes the job longer. I was wondering if you thought the new Qrevo Master with 10,000 Pa and dual brushes would do a better job of dealing with pet hair on the carpet. I know you haven’t reviewed the Qrevo Master yet but I wanted your professional opinion on the matter. I was going to buy the Roborock S8 pro Ultra or S8 Maxv ultra but I didn’t think it would do as good of a job of mopping like my Qrevo Pro. Please give me your opinion about the mopping capabilities of the S8 MaxV ultra and S8 pro Ultra. It would be mopping slight paw prints on the tile because i wipe my dogs feet before she enters the house. I’m also 75 percent tile and wood flooring. I want a great pet hair robot vacuum that also has good mopping. Sincerely Ray.
