Samsung HW-Q60B
Samsung HW-Q60C/Q6CC
The Samsung HW-Q60C/Q6CC is the next generation of the Samsung HW-Q60B. Both bars have similar designs and similar overall performances regarding their sound. However, the Q60C offers a few improvements, notably with low-frequency extension.

I can only see Amazon Alexa and Sonos Voice asisstant. No Google assistant/Gemini? Why is that?
Hey RtingsUser2253169,
Thanks for sharing, I think I found the same thread as you’re referencing here.
As far as I understand, we didn’t encounter the specific issue you mention of missing audio from the surrounds. We got surround playback from the Era 300’s when sent a Dolby Digital 5.1 signal from our Blu Ray player. That said, similarly to a lot of the users in the thread, it sounded like it was predominantly the upfiring driver was firing off.
We have seen products in the past that fire audio from multiple different drivers in order to create a wider sound field. It has happened in the past that we report something as incorrectly implemented and it’s later clarified that it’s expected behaviour from the manufacturer. According to the replies from Sonos staff in the thread (I think it’s the one you’re referencing), then it’s expected behaviour from the unit.
That said, it’s good that you brought this up, it’s definitely worth adding more details about this implementation in the review. It doesn’t seem to be a popular implementation and we should voice some of those concerns. I’ll create a retest to re-evaluate this on our unit and we’ll add more details with an update.
Thanks, Matt
Have you tried factory reset?
Question: there are reports on the Sonos forums that when fed 5.1 PCM or DD, the surround channels are played only from the side drivers on the bar and not from the Era surrounds. Have you encountered this phenomenon?
The lack of DTS:X compatibility is a serious bummer and the only thing preventing me from buying a Sonos system.

It will be much appreciated to see a comparison vs the Bose SB Ultra with surround 700 and bass 700; I believe it should perform better than the 900 with the whole setup kit
