Our Verdict
The Wyze Handheld Vacuum is decent for cleaning bare floors. It does a fantastic job of sucking up pet hair and small debris like rice but struggles somewhat with bulkier debris like cereal. It's also fairly sturdily built and easy to carry around. Its relatively alright battery life should also give you enough time to deal with most messes on a single charge, though that can vary with real-world use. While it comes with a reasonably wide assortment of accessories, you can't use most of the included tools if you lose its included attachment adapter. Its dirt compartment is also very small.

The Wyze Handheld Vacuum is a satisfactory option for cleaning low-pile carpet. It does a decent job for a vacuum that relies entirely on straight suction, but you'll need to go over the same spot more than once to clear away embedded debris. It isn't too demanding in terms of regular maintenance, and recurring costs are low, with the filter assembly being the only part that needs periodic replacing. However, its small dirt compartment needs frequent emptying.

The Wyze Handheld Vacuum is okay for cleaning high-pile carpet. Its straight suction design and lack of an included turbo brush tool means that it's incapable of providing much surface agitation on carpets. Its lightweight design and included extension hose make it fairly maneuverable, thankfully, while its dense plastic construction feels sturdy. The Wyze Handheld Vacuum is impressively well-suited to cleaning the inside of your car. Since it's cordless, you don't need to worry about staying close to an electrical outlet. It comes with a wide selection of tools and accessories, including a crevice tool for tackling messes in tight corners, as well as a short extension hose to slightly extend your reach, though it lacks a turbo brush.

The Wyze Handheld Vacuum is a poor fit for workshop cleaning, though this isn't what it's designed for. It's good at dealing with most common household debris, but using it to deal with things like wood or metal shavings on a regular basis will result in long-term damage.

The iRobot H1 and Wyze Handheld Vacuum have their advantages; one may suit you better than the other, depending on your needs. The iRobot has a bigger dirt compartment that needs emptying less often, a turbo brush for dealing with messes on upholstered surfaces, and superior performance on low and high-pile carpet. The Wyze does a better job of cleaning bare floors, is less demanding in regular maintenance, and incurs fewer recurring costs. It's also more maneuverable thanks to its smaller size.
Test Results
The Wyze Handheld Vacuum feels well-built. It's mainly made of solid-feeling plastic, though its clear plastic dirt compartment feels a little flimsy and could crack over time. That said, it still feels more solid than the eufy HomeVac H11's dirt compartment. No assembly is needed out of the box, and removing its dirt compartment or pulling out its filters are simple processes. Unfortunately, you won't be able to use the extension hose, crevice tool, or soft bristle brush if you lose the included attachment adapter.
This vacuum isn't too hard to maintain.
- Dirt compartment: The dirt compartment can be emptied by pressing the quick-release button near the bottom of the part. You can completely remove it by rotating it against the vacuum body. It needs frequent emptying, and you can clean it out with water if necessary.
- Filters: The lint screen and HEPA filter are located inside the dirt compartment. You can twist the assembly out of its housing, then pull out the HEPA filter from inside the pre-filter lint screen. Both filters should be cleaned with water within their estimated two to three-month service life.
All parts you clean with water should be left to dry for at least 24 hours before putting them back in the vacuum.

This vacuum is fantastically portable. It's similar in weight to alternatives like the BISSELL AeroSlim/TurboSlim and is easy to carry around.
The Wyze Handheld Vacuum's battery performance is okay. It supplies over 30 minutes of runtime when used in its default power setting, which drops to a little over 10 minutes if you run it continuously in its Max Power Mode. However, this can vary in the real world. It features a trio of battery indicator lights, allowing you to check the estimated remaining charge at a glance.
This vacuum has a a few quality of life features. You can increase its suction power by quickly pressing the easily-accessible main power button while the vacuum is on. Holding the button down turns the vacuum on or off.
This vacuum comes with a relatively wide assortment of tools and accessories. Its upholstery tool can be fitted directly to the vacuum, but the rest of the included accessories can only be attached using the included adapter. These include a crevice tool for tackling messes in tight corners and a soft bristle brush for dusting off delicate surfaces. You can use the included extension wand to make it easier to clean hard-to-reach areas.

Performance on low-pile carpet is decent. As with its performance on bare floors, its bottom-facing vent can cause it to blow around lightweight debris. However, it is ultimately pretty effective at clearing away larger material.
This vacuum's pet hair cleaning performance on low-pile carpet is poor. Its straight suction nozzle does little to lift away strands of hair that have been lightly pressed into carpet fibers.
Using the flat nozzle does little to improve performance. Instead of providing more surface agitation, the attachment simply drags around lighter strands of hair.
Like many other handheld models, this vacuum delivers great suction performance. It has little to do with the power of its motor and more with the fact that its suction inlet can form a very tight seal with flat surfaces.
Suction performance is low but par the course for a handheld model. Its small suction motor simply isn't powerful enough to move large quantities of air and debris into its dustbin.
This vacuum is fairly quiet overall. You're likely to have some trouble hearing what people nearby are saying if they speak quietly, but it's far from unbearably loud, and it won't be too noticeable if you use it in another room.
The Wyze Handheld Vacuum has good maneuverability. While it isn't well-suited to cleaning large areas, the included assortment of tools and accessories make it easier to clean hard-to-reach areas, like the crevices between couch cushions or underneath tables.
This vacuum's pet hair cleaning performance on furniture is good, though it must be used in its 'Powerful' setting for improved overall performance. Using it in its default 'Power Saving' mode results in sub-par pet hair pickup performance.
