The Dyson has a considerably longer battery life, has an onboard particle counter, is easier to maneuver, and uses a more powerful suction motor, allowing for superior deep-cleaning performance on carpets and in crevices. Moreover, the Dyson is better on virtually every surface type.  The Tineco could be a better option if you're looking for something cheaper and more portable, as it weighs less. Its companion app integration also makes it easier to keep track of which parts need cleaning.
