Will there be testing of this monitor v2.0 ?

No unfortunately not. We don’t plan on testing any other previous reviews with our new methodology!

what is the maximum NITS for this monitor? I want to set it correctly for HDR. Thanks!

You can see the brightness for the monitor in the SDR and HDR Brightness sections of the review.

Does it have slow red phosphor problem which produces red trails in BFI?

Unfortunately we don’t test for that, so we don’t know, and it’s hard to tell by looking at the motion pictures.

Thanks for the reply. Is HDMI Forum VRR a standard? Search didn’t gave me much info. How to find some 1440p monitors that support it? I have seen some youtube videos of 1440p monitors working with VRR and 120Hz with PS5 so there must be some.

Yes that’s exactly it, it’s its own standard, just like how FreeSync and G-SYNC are their own standards. It’s part of HDMI 2.1 features, but you don’t need HDMI 2.1 bandwidth to support it. Because we don’t have a test result specifically for HDMI Forum VRR yet, the best way to see which monitors support it is by checking if the PS5’s VRR works with those monitors. I’ve created a list using our table tool to show you 1440p monitors that support VRR with the PS5.
