Hi there, We tested the S-Center Sync on our Sony Bravia 9 QLED, which currently has the best scoring frequency response of all the TVs we have tested.
Did you try the bar without a Sony tv? I have found 360 Spatial Mapping is crushing ambient effects and losing details on surround tracks (notable 1917 UHD Atmos in the forest towards the end, the woodland noises aren’t present and neither is the singing unless at a very high volume), apparently if you are using a Sony TV and centre sync this isn’t an issue. You can also use Automatically Adjust Volume to fix it but it then reduces the dynamic range and adds gain to all speakers. Quad users also reporting this.

I don’t think it’s very fair comparing a standalone sound bar to a package such as Samsung’s offering. Where is the review showcasing the Bar 9, RS5 and SW3/SW5? Also how does the 360 Spatial Mapping perform without a Sony TV as the centre channel?
