The Ninja Flip SP151 is a toaster oven/air fryer that stands out for its space-saving feature. It has a short, wide design and is meant to flip up on its back when not in use, which reduces its overall footprint on your counter. Otherwise, it offers an air fry mode along with several other functions like 'Pizza' and 'Dehydrate.' It comes with an enamel-coated baking tray, wire racks, and a mesh basket for air frying.
The Ninja Flip SP151 is great for mixed use. It may not fit taller items like roasts or a loaf of bread, but it has a decent capacity overall. While the temperature fluctuates somewhat during cooking, it still has excellent temperature stability, which makes it a great option for baking and reheating leftovers. It's also good for air frying, quickly making mostly crispy, golden-brown foods like French fries. It has an impressive toasting performance, although it tends to toast one side more at maximum capacity.

The Ninja Flip is excellent for reheating leftovers. It has a decent capacity and can fit plates, bowls, and smaller casserole dishes. It rarely overshoots your selected temperature setting, which helps keep your food from burning or drying out before it's heated through. It also preheats quickly, although you can't rely on the inaccurate preheat reminder to know when it's fully heated.

Preheats quickly.
Not much vertical space in cooking chamber.
The Ninja Flip is excellent for baking. While the temperature varies somewhat during cooking, overall, it stays quite close to your selected temperature setting. It rarely overshoots it, reducing the risk of burning cookies or bread before properly cooking. The temperature is also very uniform throughout the cooking chamber.

Temperature in cooking chamber is uniform.
Temperature fluctuates a bit.
The Ninja Flip is good for air frying. It has an air fry mode and comes with a mesh basket. While its fan isn't that powerful, its cooking chamber has a lot of surface area, so you can cook more food in a single layer for better results. It air fries quickly and makes mostly crispy food. It has a strong performance for an oven-style air fryer, but many good drawer-style air fryers make more evenly browned, crispy food.
Air fry mode.
Mesh air fry basket included.
Undercooks some of your food.
The Ninja SP151 is great for toasting. It browns toast evenly and quickly for a toaster oven. It tends to cook the bottom of the bread more than the top when you use its full six-slice capacity. However, you can get even better results with just four slices at once.
Toasts quickly.
Toasts one side more.
The Ninja SP151 has a decent cooking capacity. It can fit four slices of bread or an 11-inch pizza. However, there's not a lot of vertical space in the cooking chamber, so something like a whole chicken may not fit.

The Ninja Flip is a medium-sized toaster oven/air fryer that can be flipped on its back to save space. It has a wide cooking chamber for its overall size, which helps it perform very well for air frying, especially for a more compact oven. It produces similar results to the much larger Breville the Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro BOV900BSS. It also maintains a mostly stable temperature, although you may find its cooking chamber has awkward dimensions for baking since it may not be tall enough for a whole chicken and can only fit an 11-inch pizza. It's also not the easiest to clean. The Cuisinart Air Fryer TOA-70 isn't a great option for toasting, but it's an equally good air fryer and fits a 12-inch pizza.
This toaster oven is quite compact overall. It has an unusually flat shape and is meant to be flipped up backward when not in use, which lowers its overall footprint. Here's a photo of the oven flipped up for storage.
It has a decent capacity. Its wide cooking chamber is large enough to fit six slices of bread, but a 9" x 13" baking sheet may not fit, or just barely. It doesn't have much vertical space, so something like a loaf of bread or a whole chicken may be a tight squeeze. There are only a couple of possible rack positions.
It has a wide range of temperatures and various functions, making it quite versatile. It has a wide temperature range and multiple fan speeds. Unlike some air fryers, the lowest temperature is low enough for dehydrating, and it has powerful upper elements for faster broiling. There's a light in the cooking chamber that you can control with a button.
Function | Temperature | Timer | Fan |

Pizza | 180°F - 450°F | 1 min - 2 hours | Medium |
Broil | High (450°F) or Low (400°F) | 1-30 minutes | Off |
Toast | Shade setting 1 - 7 | Time depends on setting | Off |
Bagel | Shade setting 1 - 7 | Time depends on setting | Off |
Dehydrate | 85°F - 450°F | 1 - 12 hours | Medium |
It's more difficult to clean than many toaster ovens. The interior doesn't have a non-stick coating, and its short chamber height makes it awkward to clean. It's difficult to clean under the uncovered upper element. That said, the lower elements are easier to reach behind. There aren't any other narrow crevices or sharp pieces to watch out for. The baking tray has an enamel coating, which makes it easier to clean than trays without any coating.
This model has good air frying capabilities. If you use its air fry function and mesh basket, it quickly air fries foods like broccoli or chicken wings. Most of your food comes out crispy and golden brown, although a pretty significant proportion is still undercooked, especially compared with most good drawer-style air fryers.
Like another toaster oven from the brand, the Ninja DT201, its preheat reminder tells you it's preheated long before it actually is. It does preheat to your selected temperature quickly, but the reminder isn't accurate.
It has excellent temperature stability. On average, the oven's temperature stays quite accurate to your selected setting and doesn't overshoot very often. The temperature fluctuates a bit during cooking, which makes its performance a bit less predictable than ovens with better temperature stability, but overall, it performs well in this regard. The temperature is also uniform throughout the cooking chamber.
