Our Verdict

TCL 6 Series 2018

Samsung NU6900

The TCL 6 Series R617 is much better than the Samsung NU6900. The R617 is much brighter, has a slightly faster response time, and can remove judder from all sources. The TCL also has a full array local dimming feature, which helps improve dark room performance, although it isn't very effective.
