Hisense U7N
Hisense U8/U8N
The Hisense U8/U8N is better than the Hisense U7N. The U8N has better contrast for very deep blacks that are approaching OLED territory. The U8N also has better HDR brightness, so highlights in HDR really pop out at you in dark scenes, and very bright specular highlights even stand out in well-lit scenes. On top of that, the U8N has a wider color gamut and better color volume, so colors in HDR content are more vibrant, lifelike, and brighter. When it comes to bright room capabilities, the U8N has better SDR brightness and reflection handling, so it easily overcomes glare in even the brightest of rooms. However, the U7N has better PQ EOTF tracking, so it’s more accurate in HDR.

No, how would you connect the TV’s OUT to the receiver’s OUT…? that makes no sense.
Why is the same remote listed on one tv as medium and on the other large..?
If connecting to an AV Receiver- HDMI cable from the TV HDMI eARC port to the HDMI arc out on the Yamaha TSR receiver? And the Roku stick is directly into HDMI on the receiver? And the cable box directly to the receiver also? You guys should do a video on that, if you haven’t already.
Yeah, that’s a significant upgrade!
Had a Samsung un65tu700dfxza and the main reason i got the Hisense 75u75n is because samsung was way too dark- cant see details in movies. Also watching sports every time rewinding a play, the motion is blurred to the degree that it makes it pointless to rewind. Also, up close on the Samsung- distortion is plainly evident. Reading your review of the Hisense- seems like a major upgrade, yes?
