Hisense U8/U8N
Sony BRAVIA 9 QLED
The Sony BRAVIA 9 QLED is better than the Hisense U8/U8N. As good as the contrast is on the Hisense, the Sony has it beat due to its better local dimming feature, providing deeper blacks with less blooming. The Sony is more accurate in both SDR and HDR, so it sticks closer to the content creator's intent. Regarding image processing, the Sony TV does a better job at both upscaling and low-quality content smoothing. Both TVs are great options for gaming, but the Sony has a more consistent VRR feature. On the other hand, the Hisense has lower input lag and 144Hz support for PC gamers.

Thanks for the feedback. For most people, I’d agree with you, the Sony isn’t worth the price difference. Value is inherently subjective, though, and the Sony is worth the price difference for a small subset of our readers. We try to keep our reviews and side-by-side comparisons as objective as possible, as such we usually leave price out of the conversation.
Value for $$ should be part of the discussion. IMHO there’s no way the Sony is worth 3x the price of the Hisense ($3k vs $1K for the 65" models)
Thanks for pointing that out! should be fixed soon!
Just with the Analiti app speed test. And also watching one of my high bitrate UHD BD rips with Plex. Which was rock solid the entire time. My ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Access Points have WiFi 6E setup to only use 6Ghz. Which the U8N has no problem with.
Didn’t know that. How are you testing?
The U8N has 6Ghz WiFi 6E too. Why is this not listed in the review?
This is what I’m using for my network connection with my 65U8N. It has been rock solid with 6Ghz WiFi 6E. And I’ve been able to hit 700Mb/s speeds with it’s 6Ghz WiFi 6E.
