Our Verdict

Samsung Q60/Q60R QLED

Sony X850G

The Samsung Q60/Q60R QLED performs similarly to the Sony X850G. The Q60 has much better contrast and black levels thanks to its VA panel; it has a faster response time, and an easier-to-use smart interface. On the other hand, the Sony X850G has much wider viewing angles thanks to its IPS panel, looks and feels more premium and better-built, and has a slightly higher peak brightness.
