Our Verdict
Samsung QN90C/QN90CD QLED
LG G3 OLED
Although they use different panel technologies, the LG G3 OLED is better than the Samsung QN90C/QN90CD QLED. The LG has the typical perfect inky blacks of OLEDs, with a nearly perfect viewing angle and a near-instant response time for super responsive gaming. As is typical of high-end LED TVs, the Samsung model is brighter than the G3, but the G3 is one of the brightest OLEDs on the market, so the brightness difference between the two TVs isn't as pronounced as on some other models. The LG is also better for watching movies due to its Dolby Vision support and DTS passthrough capabilities; it also has better image processing than the Samsung.
