We've tested 15 models, and we'll regularly continue to test more models. If we haven't tested a model that you're interested in, be sure to vote for the next cameras we'll buy and test.
As always, our test methodology is a work in progress and we depend on your feedback to improve it. Our test bench v0.7 is rather simplistic, so we decided to launch without text or usage scores. Before improving it more, we want to gather your suggestions about which aspect is the most important for you, to make sure our efforts are aligned with what you care about. As we gather your suggestions, we plan on making more frequent changes to our methodology. With your feedback, we'll be able to add usage scores in the near future, and eventually, text.
You can either leave a comment on our test methodology page or send us an email to camera@rtings.com. Our tests for TVs, monitors, and headphones wouldn't be as good as they are now without your help.
In our goal to stay unbiased and buy our own units to test, we're experimenting with a new source of revenue in the form of a paywall.
Of course, this isn't for everyone, so we made sure to implement it in a way so that most people could still easily make their buying decision. In its current form, there's no text behind the paywall, only measurements after viewing 3 reviews.
You can also easily bypass it by either using the incognito mode of your browser or clearing your cookies.
We don't know if the test will be successful, or if in the future we'll need also to apply the paywall to our TV/monitor/headphones reviews. We'll need to adjust things based on your feedback, so make sure to let us know if you have suggestions/feedback/ideas by leaving a comment or sending us an email to admin@rtings.com.
