LG B8 OLED
LG SM9500
The LG B8 and the LG SM9500 use different panel types, each with their advantages and disadvantages. The B8 is an OLED TV, and as such, delivers outstanding dark room performance. The B8 also has a nearly-instantaneous response time, and it has better viewing angles. Unfortunately, the B8 also has a chance of permanent burn-in. The SM9500, on the other hand, is immune to burn-in. The SM9500 can also get a lot brighter and is more future-proof, as it supports HDMI 2.1, HDMI Forum's variable refresh rate technology, and eARC.
