LG B8 OLED
Sony X850G
The Sony X850G and LG B8 OLED use different panel technologies, each with advantages and disadvantages. The Sony has an IPS panel and can get much brighter than the LG. The LG, on the other hand, has much better dark room performance thanks to the perfect blacks of the OLED panel. The LG has a faster response time and delivers crisp motion but with more stutter. The Sony is immune to the risk of burn-in, which OLEDs have with cumulative prolonged exposure to static content.
