Hey thanks for your question! If you’re looking at the CO401B at Macy’s, that is the same model. Our unit is advertised as having a ‘peak wattage’ of 1600 watts on the box and online, but the average power when it’s running is 1200 watts, and that’s what’s written on the motor base.
There is a version of this blender currently on sale at Macy’s that advertises 1600W max power.
Are you aware of this one? Have you tested it?
Thanks!
Update: We’ve updated the results to more accurately reflect the blender’s performance. The score for Fibrous Ingredients (Small Batches) processing changed from 9.5 to 8.5 because of the blending time, and the score for Fibrous Ingredients (Full Capacity) processing changed from 8.5 to 5.0 because of the blending time and the need to use a spatula.
