Sony BRAVIA 7 QLED
The Sony BRAVIA 9 is better than the Sony BRAVIA 7 QLED. The BRAVIA 9 has better SDR brightness and much better reflection handling, so it overcomes more glare in a bright room. Highlights stand out more in HDR content on the BRAVIA 9 due to its better HDR brightness, and it has a better local dimming feature that provides better contrast for deeper blacks with less blooming. The BRAVIA 9 has a mediocre viewing angle, but the image holds up better from the sides of the screen than it does on the BRAVIA 7, so it's a bit better for watching TV with a group. Finally, the BRAVIA 9 has a faster response time for a bit less blur behind quick motion.

The Bravia 7 will be best for the value for most. It has about 97 to 100% of the performance of the Bravia 9. It only loses in reflections and off angle. The off angle is only a few clicks better than the B7. The reflections are better on the B9, but it can rainbow smear badly. So?? As for money, the B7 at 75 inches was les than half the cost of the B9 as they have not BF discounted the B9 at all, it is still 3499. The 75 B7 at Costco, Cyber Monday 200 off, was only 1599. I get delivery Dec 10th and hopefully all is good, or I will be comparing and shopping all over again.
Bravia 9 Wins The 8 is just not Bright enough to see the full aspect of a Show or Movie and the Whites Color are poor Stick with the Bravia 9 or Bravia 7 is Just as good
These aren’t OLEDs, there is zero risk of burn-in on them. Heat definitely can be an issue for the longevity of a TV, but it shouldn’t be an issue under normal viewing conditions.
I was informed by a TV expert at a store that the Bravia 9 gets hotter than the 7. Because of this, the 9 runs the risk of burn-in. Do you agree and if so, does Sony acknowledge this and does it have a burn-in warranty?
